Case studies
Repair and revival of a 1960s floor in Miranda
We repaired rotting floor timbers in a 1960s home in Miranda with matching Cypress pine boards milled to the same 2” (50mm) width. We then sanded, sealed and applied a durable polyurethane finish to the floors in the whole house.
Replacement of weatherboards in St Peters
As we replaced rotting original weatherboards on the front and sides of this early Victorian workman’s cottage, we incorporated wall breather sarking and insulation batts and straightened the wall profile where necessary with packing. We also
repropped the bullnose awning supports that had been displaced by tree roots.
